2007 Palliser Pencarrow Pinot Noir
Written it The Age Epicure 23/12/2008 on page 14 is an article from Jeni Port about the 2007 Palliser Pencarrow Pinot Noir. In it she wrote - `The Palliser 2006 Pencarrow pinot noir sold like hot cakes at Templestowe Cellars, so Jeff and Michael are back with more, this time from the 2007 vintage. Palliser is one of New Zealand’s top pinot noir producers from the Martinborough region. Pencarrow is its second label and is, as you might expect, a wine style created for the here and now but still with Martinborough’s bold wild fruit character. The Templestowe boys have it for $20 a bottle. Bright garnet, highly fragrant with the scent of violets, follows through on the palate with spicy upfront blackberry fruit and perfectly smooth (and arresting) textural appeal.’
2007 Palliser Pencarrow Pinot Noir is $20.00 per bottle (buy a case and get an extra bottle free).
