2019 J.L Chave Silene Crozes Hermitage

Deep violet-ruby in hue. Aromas of black cherry, blueberry, smoked meat and garrigue herbs mingle with a whisper of exotic spice and violet. On the palate: fleshy dark berry and bitter cherry flavours evolve into olive and underbrush, supported by firm, sinewy tannins and a spicy, mineral-tinged finish.
