2020 E.Guigal Crozes Hermitage

Deep purple core. Aromas of red and black fruit — blackberry, currant and cherry — with touches of smoked meat, wild herbs, black pepper and cedar. On the palate: concentrated yet agile, with dark berry layers, graphite minerality and a defined iron-line. The tannins are firm but polished, balanced by lively acidity and a long, savory finish.
